I am a young amateur artist with a lot of passion and drive to be better. I have always enjoyed art, in fact you can check out the Gallery page to see some of my artistic journey!
Most often you will see art tutorials or works in progress that include mainly acrylic paint and canvas, however I really enjoy working with clay. I enjoy the use of Sharpie to add bold lines that add depth and dimension but admittedly I may lean on it to clean up my lines a bit too much.
I am not a classically trained artist nor do I consider myself a professional, but I believe those things are not necessary to make good quality art. With that in mind, I am always researching new techniques and ways of improving myself and my art. Over time I would love feedback via my social media on how I can continue to challenge myself and improve.
My goal with this blog is to expand my reach and improve my voice while performing outreach through art and the creative experience. I feel as though not enough people take a chance to be creative because they feel as though they will never be good at it so what would be the point. My goal over time with this blog is to challenge that idea and by being transparent about my process and struggles, hopefully shine a light on everyone’s ability to create something amazing.
Very simply, this blog is dedicated to purely creation.
